Sublimating acrylic is quite finicky but it sure is pretty 😍 There are so many things that can go wrong with sublimation let alone sublimating on acrylic. Keep in mind that acrylic is still made of plastic so it will warp and bend with the heat so get something heavy to help flatten it and keep shape while it cools off. We've tested sublimation on almost all of our colours to see which acrylic gave the best results and the winners were our frosted and matte white acrylic.   Having trouble getting that full coverage of paint on acrylic pieces? It's actually not that hard at all. Get ready to become a pro in 3.5 seconds THINGS YOU'LL NEED: Acrylic Acrylic paint - I like to use Folk Art Acrylic paint in "Matte" Paint brush, sponge brush or roller will work 1. Remove the film from the acrylic (I have forgotten many times and wasted a ton of paint). 2. Apply thin layers of the paint onto the acrylic. It'll be streaky so be patient. 3.
